Helen Jones
Tax Partner, BDO London 
Helen is a partner in the Private Client Team at BDO LLP. With over 20 years experience in both Personal and Corporate UK Tax. Helen’s focus is dealing with wealthy individuals, entrepreneurs and their businesses. This includes advising the immediate family, related trusts, companies and partnerships.
Helen combines her commercial experience and technical knowledge to offer creative and practical advice to clients. Her strength is developing opportunities by investing time to understand individual needs and objectives.
Particular areas of specialism include advising owner managed businesses in relation to their UK and non UK structures, the tax efficient extraction of profits and exit and succession planning.
Helen also has extensive experience in the Private Equity market, advising fund structures from both an investor and Executive perspective. Helen’s expertise in this area includes minimising tax leakage, management vehicles and incentive arrangements and the tax implications of managing and holding funds both onshore and offshore.

Lee Bijoux
Tax Director, BDO London 
Lee specialises in the taxation of both UK and international high net worth individuals with complex affairs. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and has over 15 years’ experience advising wealthy individuals and their families, providing holistic advice in relation to their global tax position and helping them to structure their affairs in a manner consistent with their overall objectives.
Lee advises in relation to a broad range of personal tax matters, including the use of offshore structures such as trusts, partnerships and corporate entities for income tax, capital gains and succession planning. He has broad experience dealing with cross-border tax matters and, in the case of non-UK domiciled individuals, remittance issues.
Lee has particular experience of advising UK resident non-UK domiciled individuals as well as their bankers and trustees on preserving clean capital and managing segregated accounts where cash is invested.
He is also responsible for building the relationship between the BDO UK private client team and our professional contacts in Jersey. He regularly visits Jersey and has presented on a wide number of issues affecting both UK resident individuals and their Jersey-based bankers and trustees.
